Free State Pinball Association (FSPA)

With the new summer seasons starting up, we are proud to announce that the FSPA will be running a pinball league at Mustang Sally Brewing in Chantilly, VA!

Mustang Sally Brewing Company offers great beer and atmosphere and is located at 14140 Parke Long Ct A-C, Chantilly, VA 20151 which is conveniently located near the intersection of Rt 28 and Rt 50.

Pinball at MSB is operated by the same folks behind the games at Carpool in Fairfax, so you can expect the same great experience and level of games you’ve grown accustomed to.  Unfortunately Carpool has lost their lease at their current location and is still in the process of finding a new home… so while we morn the loss of Carpool, MSB gets a boost and some more of the spotlight!

Pinball league will start on June 8th for Week 1 @ 7:30pm.  For those interested in pinball leagues but unsure, be sure to check out our informal Week 0 meetup on June 1st @7:30pm.  Week 0 is an informal session where interested players are invited to come out, practice, check things out or see if pinball league is something for them!  All are welcome!

Summer 2021 Schedule:

Notes about the upcoming season:

• Dues will be $30 vs the normal $40 due to the reduced season and other temporary changes
• There will not be a joint FSPA end of season party for Summer 2021
• This season will will not be reported to IFPA for WPPR ratings/points as IFPA is still on hiatus due to the global pandemic
• NEW Experimental Rule for the Season regarding Preplays!  There will be no preplays or banking for this season.  Instead all players will drop their two lowest week totals.  This change will be evaluated after the season to see how players like the format.
• This season will not count for tickets in the FSPA annual machine giveaway (same for all FSPA Summer 2021 leagues due to ongoing pandemic concerns)

• This season will be an 8 week season instead of the usual 10, owing to the late start.
• There will be no preplays this season! We are going to adopt a “drop your lowest two weeks” model.
• We will be following Lost Rhino rules for covid protocols including mask wearing. If they say masks are required, we’re wearing masks for league, so come prepared!
